Measured, not assumed — 20 throws in a wooded area, deliberately short, as a worst case. Error is roughly constant in feet, so it shrinks as a share of longer throws. Above ~80 ft DiscPro measures; below that it counts. A putt is not something phone GPS can measure, and the app says so instead of inventing a number.

That honesty runs throughout: a personal best inside the error bar is flagged within error rather than celebrated, and a scoring trend smaller than the round-to-round scatter reads no clear trend.

Before you go out

Works offline. Everything is stored on your phone, so a course with no signal is fine. Satellite map tiles need service; nothing else does.

Back it up. Your phone is the only copy until you export one — there is a Back up now button in My bag.
